They look very similar to the SMOS/Noveske rails, with a much more robust barrel nut. TBH I thought the Noveske rails were too skinny, prefer the MK13 rails.

I got my 9.3inch MK16 rail in on Monday. I no longer have a project for it, so it'll chill out in the box for a bit.
Edit: Side by side next to a MK18 RIS II, the MK16 rail seems tiny.
