I hope you all won’t mind one showing off my Colt O1918.

I shoot it every so often, I bought it in 2009. I plan on handing down to one of my kids one day, so I want them to remember me shooting and enjoying the gun. By the way it is one my favorite shooters, very accurate and never fails.

They are really cool pistols. I would love to own one, but I have too many hobbies at the moment.

I love that rollmark. I have been debating buying one and sending it off.

That's a beautiful thing. I'm glad to hear that you shoot it. Nothing pains me more than a beauty like that never being fired. I don't even know how some folks are willing to spend money on a gun that they don't shoot.

Very nice. I have one of the early 2000's 01911A1 WW2 replica Colts. I shoot it once or twice a year, usually a box or two of factory 230 grain FMJ, and then a couple 100 powder puff handloads. I love shooting it, but I don't want to beat it up too much.

I am still kicking myself for not getting the 01918 when they were available.

I debated for about a week after I bought it. Here’s a few more pictures when it was new.
