On my long term plan after I hit the lottery or get some major sugar momma funding for full on destruction testing of rifles and pistols, with more than a single example, is extended range ballistics testing. Like out to 100 meters with pistol, and however far out is practical with rifle, 300, or 400 meters at least. Though I have a feeling I can make predictions now on the results of many rounds at the raggedy edge of practical accuracy. That said, the issue would be having to actually figure in angle or impact because I have the feeling that the round is not going to be going in the direction that it would at 10 meters. That all said, I don't recall many if any extended range testing. Andrew on the Chopping Block did some extended range armor testing one time, which was neat. But, I've never seen ballistic testing beyond the normal. Well, except for another channel doing armor reviews, which had stuff at a few longer rangers with gel behind it, though it was more as a backer than anything, if I recall right.
