Trump's "[poop]hole country" comments

One thing Canada does seem to have a smart approach to is immigration, which apparently Trump mentioned as a model to follow:

I’m confused by this whole thing. Did POTUS tweet the shithole comment or make it in a private meeting? I wouldn’t be happy if he used that term on an open forum simply cause that isn’t what I expect from a POTUS. If he said it in a private meeting who cares, except the media who will now attack RACISM again, cause he mentioned predominantly black areas. Supposedly.

Truth sometimes hurts. We have plenty of uneducated buffoons already here. No need for more.

Enough time has gone by that native Americans are a real thing. You may not be of indigenous First Peoples descent but its been a couple of centuries. You're American. No hyphen required.

Why should we forego our distinctly American culture because of people wanting to smuggle in cousins they are practically strangers to?

If we removed some of the Socialist Labor laws, Affirmative Action, minimum wage, Obamacare (which will never truly die),and tax burdens; we have people already here who could pick fruit and work construction without picking up God knows who from God knows where at a 7-11 parking lot to work under the table.

There are people who want jobs and people who just want a paycheck, and not all are one in the same.

There was a time when Company Stores were a thing and people knew they had a future with a company and even if they branched off it was seen as a step-stone and not as outright competition and there was more cooperation and franchising.

Now most American Industry is
essentially treated like Junior's first summer job with an expectation of turnover, fewer opportunities, and a "last guy to quit, please turn off the lights" mentality

Honestly....I'm kinda sick of seeing "made in china" on the stuff I buy but the options are limited.

I dont like my dollar going to a Communist power that babies up North Korea.

But if someone tries to say America First they get shouted down because we should all feel guilty because......

....well nobody's given me a straight answer aside from "muh racism" and pointing to their Che t shirt.

Or the Nazi spiel. I doubt actual, hardcore Totenkopf SS got called Nazis as much as moderate, maybe center Rightish people with strong Libertarian and Constitutionalist streaks do

Honestly profanity doesn't work openly, but he should double down and say "We don't get to be the best by taking in the worst" in a more voluble manner.

Good people come from "shithole" countries and shit people come from "good" countries too. IDGAF where you're from, we need to be cherry picking. I don't have a problem with bringing their nuclear families over either.

I'm not down with importing a semi-permanent underclass though.

The left's wet dream is a society that demands bigger government and tighter control of the people. They overwhelm the system so that we end up demanding security in exchange for our liberty. Alinsky 101. Mass unfettered migration, Obamacare to usher in single payer, $15 minimum wage, automation ... loss of jobs...universal basic income. Just a few examples.

We should exchange each and every idiot who hates our country for immigrants who love the USA and will be productive members of our society. Kick the haters out!
