Thoughts on my next build

Okay, it's time to start another build! I want to do one that supports the
sponsors of M4C so after sitting down and creating a couple of 'wish list' here's
what I've come up with:

- POF Billet lower
- Stag/CMT lower parts kit
- VLTOR Carbine Buttstock
- VLTOR MUR upper receiver
- BCM Mid-length barrel Assy.
- DD 9.0 Lite rail
- Stag/CMT BCG (unless the BCM BCGs are ready)
- EoTech 553
- Tango down rail panels, vert grip and pistol grip
- Troy BUIS

Now I know the BCM uppers won't be available until Q1 so I'll work on getting
the POF lower assy built up and save for the upper, middy and rail in the
meantime. What do you guys think?

The MUR is sweet but I think I would go with a VIS instead just because the monlith is sweeter and I don't own one...yet. I would probably go with an Eotech 552 here is my "top3" reasons why:

1.) It has been around longer than the 553, tried and true IMHO.
2.) You aren't stuck with an A.R.M.S. mount...larue would be my choice.
3.) 30 AA's are about the same price as 4 123's and easier to find.

Anyway, your list sounds pretty f'ing nice and as always- if you decide to build it, make sure to post the pics ASAP.

Sounds state of the art. Waiting to get what you want, instead of what is currently available, is the way to go. I am sure you have a carbine to use in the meantime.

I did not even know that B.C.M. was coming out with their own B.C.G.. Was there a thread on that?

No Magpul stuff? I guess it is all a matter of personal preference.

1.Lower (undecided but leaning towards Sun Devil)
2.RRA Lower Parts kit W/NM 2 stage trigger
3.VLTOR MUR upper receiver W/brass deflector and forward assist.
4.Noveske 14.5" Mid Afghan barrel W/VLTOR Gas block
5.DD 9.0 Lite Rail
6.RRA BCG or someone else
7. TA31F ACOG or maybe a S&B--> (never had the pleasure of using one)
8. KAC Panels
9. undecided on BUIS

I will check out the MUR but I really want to use one of the new DD Lite rails so I think a VIS and DD 9.0 Lite would be my first choice.

As for the 553...what the heck I might as well try one.

I thought I read on some thread where Paul was planning his own BCGs at some time. Maybe he can get us up to speed or squash the rumor if need be.

I love Magpul stuff and have plenty of it but for this build I want to stick with the companies that support this site.

Somehow, I am not surprised. You probably know 1 or 2 guys who could
hook you up .

I guess it makes sense to patronize the people that reciprocate the business.

Maybe Paul will weigh in and provide an answer on the B.C.G..
