LMT MRP Worth the $$$

Man, you guys don't know how to shop around. You can get a complete MARS rifle variant for around $1500-$1600. You can buy MARS lowers for around $630-$800.

Check out Riflegear or Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore, for example

Right, that wasn't my point though. The best aspect of the rifle is swapping barrels. But the cost of the barrels are almost high enough to not justify building and upper sound a different barrel.

If you know of some places to buy their barrels for less I'm all ears.

I just looked at some LMT monolith uppers with MLOK and of course this is another blunder.

MLOK slots do not go out to the end of the handguard. They are still have that retarded integral QD socket at the end of of the rail, which probably doesn't have any anti rotation feature.

They usually don’t command much on the secondary market.

LMT is killing it with this move. A FORGED 7075 monolithic upper receiver and rail in mlok, also in big frame! Been wishing LMT would do this for a while. talk about a ridged IR aiming laser mount, perfect MAWL host.
Now if they could do some lightweight barrel profiles...
The MARS lowers are exceptional too.

I cannot wait for the Mlok MRP. I hear tell of gas issues (just a bit overgassed), but I doubt I will suppress one. If so, I hope the LMT fungineers will tweak it.

You can always just get the upper and bcg and have Marvin Pitts put whatever barrel you want in it.
