I have not, but I've heard people express concern.

Was just wondering how rare this is.

In 20 years of shooting, I've never seen or heard this happening and even if it did, a pistol magazine is like $20, replace and drive on.

Brass is pretty corrossion resistant. Unless you leave it outside or drop it in the ocean and forget to fresh-water rinse it, corrosion will not be a major concern.

Id be willing to bet those voicing concern have not seen it happen either.

Ive never heard of such a thing, so I'd wager that it's as rare as unicorns, yetis, and honest politicians.

Good. I had never seen it either, but then saw a couple posts about it somewhere and started to wonder if it were even a thing.

I have had some corrosion on 9mm corbon rounds carried in G26 near / around saltwater beaches but nothing that had it stuck in a mag.

I left a round in a chamber cleaned and lubed with Ballistol for several months and it was doing it's thing of dissolving it, but it did not stick in the chamber.
