    RMR regret?

I'm looking into getting an RMR on one of my glocks to try out.

Most everyone I have spoken to about it has seemed to like it very much.

I am just curious if anyone has spent the money and regreted it?

also, should I be looking into the Delta point instead?

    all opinions are welcome.

Search is your friend. Many other threads around here discussing the topic.

No regret going to a red dot. Went into it with the understanding that it would take work to make the transition; not with the belief that it would turn me into a God.

Delta Points seem to be having growing pains and suck batteries dry often. I’d stick with RMR for duty or defense.

    No regrets.

I appear to be the only one whose had great results with the Deltapoint.

No regrets; does take some adjusting to be fast with it.

I did for the first few hundred rounds. But once I got used to it I really prefer it. Need to get my M&P milled here soon in fact.
Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly.

That's what I have read, stick with it and practice. after a bit it just becomes second nature.

I'm going to pick up two of the type 1s for the banging price they are at now days.

I'm still a couple months out from purchase, but I'm defiantly going to send a slide in to get milled.

Regret, yes. Not on the RMR itself, but on what I choose to put it on. I went with a Glock MOS and sold a Gen 3 19 to fund the MOS, in retrospect I wish I kept that 19 and just did the slide mods to correctly mount the RMR.

My regret is that I tried the DPP and Vortex offerings first. Nothing wrong with the DPP, but I wasn’t a fan.

Thanks what I currently have and actually thought about doing. I have read that it is better to just send the slide in, thanks for confirming.

My favorite pistols as well as my work guns all have RMR's . They are fast and accurate, they do have a learning curve. They allow me to shoot accurately without having to put on reading glasses.
