Really? They were released without bail, probably an indicator of how worked up the court is over the whole thing. I’ll be shocked if they get anything more than a misdemeanor and a fine. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a small fine. One thing that could create problems for them is their apparent lack of press credentials.

From the picture in the article, it’s certainly not very bomb-like in appearance. They could have done a better job on that score if it was indeed some kind of press stunt.

nine members of the film crew were charged with “conspiracy, creating a public false alarm and interference with transportation,” the New York Daily News writes. The same source writes that the crew was released, and they will face the charges in Essex County court at a later date. Additionally, they are reportedly facing up to $13,000 in fines.
