Tell NJ that the state and all local law enforcement should lead by example and be the first to implement the 5 rd magazine limit. Those are the only ones that they can truly regulate.

The advice above is worth exactly what you paid for it.
So if they keep following the same logic then they should go to 1 round magazine limit to really stop criminals, then zero mag limit i.e. no magazine fed semi-automatic firearms. That should make NJ the safest state in the union.

New York's in the Second Circuit, where the ruling occurred. New Jersey's in the 3rd. While someone might argue to the Court that the Circuit's neighbor to the North ruled a certain way for good cause (arbitrary, and doesn't account for guns with fixed internal magazines), it isn't binding on NJ.
Forgive the rant, but aside from the usual gun forum one liners of
"What part of shall not be infringed do they not get?
That's why I live in Free America/you should move
Dumb politicians
Why don't the cops/governor's PSD abide by the law
I will not comply
They're just making felons overnight
The criminals won't be affected

That's why I don't give money to the NRA
Yeah yeah yeah. We get all that.
Who, other than BoringGuy45, has a thought on how this can be won?
Again, sorry for the rant.

The text lines are on the left margin (line 10 or 11 in this case), and are consistent throughout the rest of the document. Since the numbers coincide with the current capacity and the proposed legislation, I don’t think it’s a lost line number.

That's a bummer. Can't say I'm surprised, though.
