I've ordered a JMCK "George" and requested that no belt wedge be formed into it as well as the belt loop attachments. Will see how that works to start, my decision was based off two other JMCK holsters I have and calling to discuss what I was looking for.

I agree with the pocket carry being the most low profile most of the time but I still prefer AIWB for the muscle memory, and not having to rotate my wallet and pocket clip folder from the strong side front pocket to another location.

I carried my 340pd in my front blue jeans pocket last night at a show, super easy and low key.

I use the pistolwear neoprene belt/holster system. Works under gym shorts, wore it on a 3 mile run and stayed in place perfectly. Can be worn anywhere from 12-4 o'clock positions. Very little bulk and keeps gun free from sweat. Go with the smallest size for a j frame. The small magazine pouch they offer fits a 6 rd speed strip perfectly with the grab tab sticking out. I cut off the mag pouch flap and the little neoprene tab with the magnet to help retain the gun. Figured it just got in the way and made drawing more difficult.

J frame in front pocket in a Sticky holster. Fairly minimalist. Extremely capable.

Desantis pocket holster served me well

442 or 642 w/ CT 405 in a Galco horse hide pocket holster for the win. Gotten it wet many, many times and it retains its shape and has decent retention for an open top. Lower profile than a nemisis or stick holster. Fits well in both front and cargo pockets. Carry it every day at work and occasionally in the yard when I “don’t need a gun”.

So far I am not crazy about the JMCK. It rides higher than I would like and I prefer the clip over the belt loops which are not available with the jframe holster. Also the kydex marks up the cylinder on my 340PD but that is a non issue for my 640. Going to roll with it a bit longer but I've ordered an Alessi Deep Cover to try as well.
