    Beretta 1301

Having sold my other shotguns over the last year, I’m looking to get back into one sometime in 2018. Specifically, the updated 1301 seems like what I’m looking for at a reasonable price. My specific uses for a shotgun would be training, occasional games, and perhaps turkey hunting.

Would anybody here have any experiences with this particular line of shotguns they would care to share?

Look over at the Brian Enos site. There's like 65 pages on the 1301. If my needs were training, occasional games, and perhaps turkey hunting I would look at the 1302 Comp. I prefer a rib over sights on a shotgun.

Beretta says that the newest iteration of the 1301 corrects the jamming issue that happens under certain circumstances, and replaces the polymer rail with an aluminum one. Overall FDE is now an option too. Not sure if these have hit the market yet.

For the OP that lists possible turkey hunting, yes.

For people don't or can't use flitecontrol, maybe.
