    Thumbs up PUFGUN Russian 60rd 5.45 Coffin Mag . . .

Remember seeing pics of the "coffin style" prototype AK-74 mags back in day but it appears a Russian firm as brought them to life.

    Pics here ($99):

these arent exactly the originals. these arent mil-spec. no steel in the locking lugs or feed lips.
also, almost as long as a 45 round rpk mag and to wide to let a folding stock fold.

I believe the Russians have some steel reinforced 50-rounders in limited use. Apparently the 60s were trying to push too much mass to be as reliable as they wanted them to be.

I'm surprised the bag of exploding, syphilitic dicks at State Department even allowed these into the country under ITAR and present sanctions...

I bought one of these. It didn't fit into either of my rifles (Bulgarian krinkov and an Arsenal) and the plastic was very thin and cheap. The locking tab was tiny and did not inspire confidence. I returned it.

    Thanks for the mini-review.

I'll pass. I have two 5.45 rifles and pondered about picking one of these up for a range toy but meh.
