    Armalite AR-10 suppressor mount gap

Picked up a used Armalite AR10. Went to install my Silencerco ASR flash hider and torqued it leaves this gap. Is this something I need to shim? I can't find marking on the barrel so it's possible it could be aftermarket.

Yes, shim it. Do not use a crush washer or a peel washer. Use shims.

Just checking measurements on a couple of other barrels I have and threads are .625 long. These are .750, is this something specific to armalite?
