CZ P10C: Check that striker safety retaining pin!

Please refer to Earl An's video starting at 9:25.

A few days go, I disassembled my 3rd P10C when I had a bit of difficulty removing the striker assembly. Tonight, I was curious about the operation of the striker safety so I took apart the P10C and proceeded to wiggle the safety with my finger. It came completely off! In the process of removing the striker assembly a few days ago the retaining pin had sprung out. I couldn't find the original pin so I ended up fashioning one from a 1/16" drill bit. The striker safety and spring are every bit as difficult to reassemble as Earl supposed. Do check for that retaining pin!

I was changing my striker spring when the whole assembly slipped and feel in the floor. Luckily I found everything but that little safety spring was a bitch to get back in place. David

Speaking of which. I found the retaining pin today. It was on the floor.
