Aimpoint PRO or two cheaper optics?

I see some good sales on Optics Planet and I was considering getting two optics for both my ARs but I also see an Aimpoint Pro is $437 with a nice little 10% coupon as well making it under $400. I've had an EoTech, Burris, and Vortex before but never an Aimpoint. I've heard nothing but good things. Both my guns currently have iron sights. I was wondering if you think I should get an Aimpoint for just one of the rifles for now or if I should settle on two lesser optics like a pair of Holosun 503GU? What do you all think?

Get yourself your first Aimpoint, especially if you can get a good price.

Aimpoint, everyday and twice on Sundays. Keep one gun irons or save for another Aimpoint

    It depends ...
Is this a go to Carbine?
If you already have a go to Carbine or two with a PRO, Micro, or Comp not necessarily.
You could do a lesser but semi serious Romeo, primary arms, vortex, etc.
    If you don’t, yes Aimpoint.

If you're not in a hurry, you can find PROs on the EE for $325-350. i've gotten a couple that seemed to be brand new.

Thanks all for the replies. Yes, this will be for a go to carbine which is my Colt LE6920. I have a Spikes I built as well and even though it has the nickel boron trigger I still like shooting my LE6920 (and its the first rifle ready to go in my safe). I'd probably added a cheaper optic like a Vortex or Holosun on the Spikes.

I can get it for $399 with free shipping from Optics Planet as well.

Good call and good price. I have a PRO on my patrol rifle (it's a Bushy and no, I don't want to talk about it.) and a T-1 on my personal PWS. For RDS sights I don't look outside of Aimpoint anymore.
    Reads a lot, posts little.
