Have both OP mentioned. Aim point, by far.

I've gotten them (plural) for under $300, and they work as great as the more expensive and newer models. That's how I'D save money, and still get Aimpoint quantity.

Good choice. I sold my Pro to fund a T2. The Pro was a very solid optic that served me well, I just wanted a smaller package that was Aimpoint.

Judging by the overwhelming response for Aimpoint I think if I enjoy the PRO I’d maybe invest in a micro. What’s the cheapest they’ve been on sale for?

I picked up a used CompM4 on eBay for $369. A little more expensive then the M2, but I'm happy with it.

So I jumped on a Trijicon MRO for my other rifle at $350 at field and stream. Got them to price match and used some coupons.

    You'll be much happier.

I already have a PRO , T1 and an EoTech but needed something for a budget rifle I built for one of my sons. Picked up a Vortex SPARC AR and hate it, my son doesn't mind it so it worked out but that's the last budget red dot I'll ever waste my money on.
