^to your response to my comment. 18yr olds arent any different than they were in my real-life experience.
I know a few 18yr olds id trust over some 40yr olds. Should we remove rights based on your opinion of people?
I understand tour persoective, but its a dangerouse slipery slope.

Its politics. He cant just ban them, people would freak. But if you help them come up with the idea “themselves...”. Even a few people, it can help stuff pass. Screw it use their tactics, people want change cause the woulds are fresh, just do it.

What isn't? In todays society, we cant have conversations without offending someone, we cant adapt new policies without SJW's screaming "fascist" or liberals screaming "intolerance".

How can Trump end gun free zones? Were those merely the law because of an executive order?

Assuming the internet is accurate: Twenty-eight years ago, in 1990, then-Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., introduced the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990 into the Senate, and it prohibited “any unauthorized individual from knowingly possessing a loaded or unsecured firearm at a place that the individual knows, or has reasonable cause to believe, is a school zone.” It was passed by Congress and signed by President George H.W. Bush.

Exactly. Trump can’t do anything but support it. And since that’s the conversation now, we’ll see.

They were buying pet rocks and dancing to disco back then. I don't think they are any worse / better than when I was growing up. At the time I knew adults I wouldn't trust with a sling shot much less a gun, and the same is true today. But there were also responsible kids and adults then as now.

You can't hold group A accountable for the actions of group B.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

That federal law doesn’t apply to CCW permit holders. Whether or not guns are banned for permit holders on school grounds remains a state decision, and like most states, school zones in Florida are prohibited. Trump never had a chance of fulfilling that campaign promise.

Thank you. "Kids these days" has been the rallying cry of adult complainers since time began. The dirt bag to good kid ratio where I live has been pretty much unchanged since I was in high school in the 80's.

Spot on. It's always been that way. I live in a rural area, and for the most part, the kids here are hard working farm kids. With that said, there are still some I wouldn't trust with a bucket of water if my knickers were on fire.
