I'm making plans to e.g. The hell out of NJ, what the hell is the point of the rest of the country is going to be the same?

    I've been ripped.

I don't think anyone, on M4C at least, is speaking to the need or advantage of bump stocks and similar gimmicky devices.

What we are saying is that, pointless or not, it IS protected under the 2nd amendment just as any SBR, SBS, suppressor, and other NFA item was at one point.. until the Government overstepped its boundaries.

Giving up bump stocks is yet another step in the wrong direction. The devices usefulness has no bearing on its legality and that argument is one of the reasons we ended up with NFA items in the first place.

This is still a far cry from the BS going on in NJ. I honestly think it's a purely political move to control the narrative.

I don't own and will never own a bump stock.

However I am so pissed off, what happened to the Constitution!

How can a government agency ban anything?

Let Congress act and if it passes, then shame on us for not fighting hard enough.

Trump is not a centimeter less an Imperial President as the piece of crap that vacated the White House to let Trump move in.

Oh, back then boys, we dared to dream big, didn't we? And why not, the world seemed to be our oyster.
And just look at us now, merely trying to hold on to what we already have yet again.
Yep. That's why the fight is never over, regardless of what puppet sits on the POTUS office. This really should not shock anyone, Trump is biting the hand that feeds.

That's not the way it works, granted that would be the greatest achievement in this country, giving up something in return for something greater. I would put that up there with landing on the moon or discovering flight. I think there is still a chance for nation wide CCW reciprocity and possibly Hearing protection act. But those things wont come as a result of anything else.

Bump fire stocks were asking for trouble. There is nothing being circulated about regulating or banning hi cap magazines or even assault rifles- I think that will be for each state to decide- I honestly don't think the federal government wants to tackle that on a national level at least right now. Some of these politicians actually like there jobs and not willing to compromise or jeopardize there careers. The actual number of people who agree with an assault weapons ban is steadily around 17% and has been there since 2010.

There's a lot of talk on this thread about Trump being anti 2nd Amendment or he is a traitor the 2nd Amendment- I think that is silly, obviously he is our president and the one that has to make decisions and I feel that this decision will encourage the anti-trump crowd that there is hope with him as our leader. If you only vote on 1 issue, you shouldn't vote at all!

If I knew that putting my KAC on the grinder is what it took for 15-20 news organizations to offer me $100k to appear for a sit down interview, I would have done so a year ago. Personally, I think the guy is stupid for believing that destroying his personal rifle would save a life of a child- obviously he thinks he rifle has free will and somehow has evolved emotions and feelings and has the desire to kill children. He will be featured in Time magazine next month and has already hired an agent to represent him. He is no hero to me, but I would of done it for the money that he is about to receive for it.

First they came for the bump stocks, but I didn't speak up because I didn't have a bump stock

Then they came for the binary triggers, but I didnt speak up, because I didn't have a binary trigger

Then they came for the pistol braces, but I didn't speak up, because I didn't have a pistol brace

Then they came for the semi-autos.

I've been having to educate a few people on that in the past week.
