There are already thousands of video hosting sites on the internet. Most of them currently feature porn, but restructuring would be simple.

Trying to compete with Google, however, is pretty much a non-starter. The money and technology they have access to crowds out everyone else in the market.

Facebook is too big to fall at this point. For people to jump ship someone has to come up with a new, better social media interface. At this point that seems unlikely.

I disagree. If a bakery has to accept business from groups they may disagree with, then the same should apply to YouTube having to host videos they may disagree with. The law should apply to everyone equally.

How long have we been told that if you are open to the public for business that you have to not discriminate? How many times were we told that we must allow voices to be heard on campus that we don't agree and are on the fringes of society. But when it comes to us, BURN THEM, literally according to Dana.
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

At what point are they considered either A) a monopoly or B) a utility? Honestly asking, not trying to be snarky. Look at earlier this year/late last year when Gab started out as an alternative to current social media sites. Once it gained traction Google and Apple dropped it from their app stores. In all honesty how is a new entry supposed to compete in an environment like that?

Also how many times are we told you can't vilify a group based on the actions of one individual because that would be discrimination?

I have co-workers in the media that openly say "kill the NRA", call me "comrade" because I voted Trump, and my favorite "you shouldn't be allowed to own guns if you're a veteran". They might not say those things on-air, but any story from CBS/CNN/AP that comes close to saying it or gives them bias confirmation they will replay multiple times the 24-hour news cycle.

Equal application of the law is not part of the narrative. If it were, Hitlery would be in prison not walking around free. The left epitomizes do as I say not as I do.

The brown shirts will be at your door shortly to collect you for suggesting such insanity.

    Short answer is you can't.

Unless you have the money to take them to court for discrimination, you lose.

Social media isn't a utility, but Google fiber absolutely is, so we'll see how that plays out. As far as their software, if you have a phone that isn't made by Apple you're dealing with Google. It'll be interesting to see how big they can get before antitrust suits are filed.

    Russia, Russia, Russia

You do have a point though. If the Obama Justice Department can bully mom and pop bakeries into baking a cake for a lifestyle they disagree with then the Trump Justice Department can come down on Google like an anvil and bulldoze them over this.

It’s only fair. And the left is all about fair.

Absolutely. Multiple lawsuits should be filed.
