Gerber command 1 info needed

I picked this knife up at a thrift store for cheap a few weeks ago. I don't know much about gerber anymore except the old blades are the good blades.

Does anyone have any info on this for me? I see the info on the web, but I'm not sure how to date mine or if it's worth anything

It has the original sheath, a bit of surface rust and grime on it

I don’t have any info for you, but I remember seeing those advertised when I was younger.

I had one of the factory blacked out command II versions back in the 80s. Don't remember selling it, never did figure out where it went. The command II is just larger, having a longer blade. I preferred it over the double edged version, as it has a much thicker blade.
As I recall, working in a knife shop back then, they didn't serialize them, so there's no way to really date it.
It's worth? Hard to say. Some older knives bring money, some don't.
