I would have no guilt. In this Information Age if you are unable or unwilling to do your due diligence, that’s on you. If he comes back with a retail price, I’ll say “that’s too rich for my blood, but if you can’t sell it call me back and then I’ll give you $200 for it”. Easy come easy go.
