Who's making 11.5 complete uppers other than BCM?

By suppressor optimized so you mean the reduced gas port or one that was suppressor only?

I haven't had any issues with my RGP barrel unsuppressed. Using an H buffer it has cycled everything and even locks back on the last round with underpowered steel case stuff.

I do think I saw something at one point about a suppressor only barrel, but I don't know if those were ever available. I wouldn't expect good results unsuppressed from that one unsuppressed.

As far as I know they never released the suppressor only barrels. I check in with them quarterly about them haha. My rgp barrel is my 2nd favorite behind my kac 11.5 cqb mod 2.

Correct. Those were T&E things that we did and used them as part of testing against RGP barrels.

My Bushmaster 11.5 runs like a champ.

Gas port sizes vary widely. BCM would not tell me their gas port size (lol). LMT stated theirs was .083, and Colt, I believe, varies on which barrel you get also, but my 11.5 heavy barrel is supposed to be ported at .069, but I don’t have pin gauges. Haven’t ran my suppressor (SF RC2) on the LMT, but it’s pretty good on the BCM (little gas to the face w/ the RC2). The Colt is probably best, in my experience.

Per W.Larson/Semper Paratus Arms armorer course: the Industry Norm for 11.5" barrels is .076.

BCM 11.5" barrels have a gas port size of .076 (confirmed at W.Larson/Semper Paratus Arms armorer course on two of my 11.5" BCM uppers with a pin gauge).

A friend/co-workers Colt 6933 (complete Colt 6933 URG purchased from G&R in late 2016 - sent to Iraqgunz for rail install and gas port measured at .074)

Colt 14.5"/16" (M4/6920) barrels gas ports are .062.
