Long awaited from a Black friday sale, this 1lb 9oz barrel arrived about 10 days ago. I assembled an old pull apart upper with an appropriate Noveske Switchblock and a Silencerco brake for my Omega, then put an A2 stocked SBR lower with a Giessele HiSpeed match trigger under my 16X Leupold MK4. Shot the other day and decided to bracket the apparent node at 25.5 of an old lot of RL 10 in LC '14 cases with Federal 205 match primers. Winds 8 - 12 mph, temp 50F with 13% humidity today here in Vegas.
While the standard deviations are high, the groups were more than satisfying to me. the .608/.427 is best 5/4 as a way I "eliminate" some of my shooter error. The other is the disasterous called shot in the center group... poor timing on my part to screw up.
