    Mid-length + LMT enhanced carrier + A5

Has anyone tried running a 16" mid-length (FN) with an LMT enhanced carrier and A5 buffer system (looking at A5H1)?

I've never strayed from a carbine + H2 buffer + standard bolt carrier on my builds so I just want to make sure this set-up will not be severely under-gassed or unreliable.

Yes, and it will do almost nothing for you. I run my midlengths with an A5H2 or H3 and Sprinco spring. The E-Carrier is just a waste of money in this case.

I have an LMT EBCG in a 14.5" BCM middy with an H2 buffer and it works fine. Whether you need it or not is debatable but it does run without any hitches.

I've heard people say that a specific benefit would be less gas to the face when suppressed.
