They are expensive and probably a little overpriced but I'm sure the cost of tooling up to make it wasn't insignificant. I have two dedicated PSA Glock lowers I bought for $69 each but they didn't have LBHO. I built an upper using the New Frontier Armory LBHO upper which is a little over $200 just for a bare upper. It works great after a slight tweak.

If the LBHO on the Matrix Arms lower is reliable that looks like a great option. The LBHO on my adapter has been perfect through about 500-600 rounds.

I got a stripped billet LRBHO PSA lower and built it last year. $99. They sold out and never came back in stock. It works OK. One of these Matrix is going to replace the standard PSA lower on my 16" carbine. I had bought a complete blem upper, and complete blem lower for that rifle. These are a bunch of fun!

Primary Arms, just got this email on sale. LRBHO spare mag storage in the grip. Completer polymer lower with ambi safety. Just needs a FCG. $160

Do these require a heavier 9mm buffer?

A 9mm buffer will slow the BCG down to allow the LRBHO time to function. If not it is hit and miss. I originally was running a standard AR buffer not knowing any different. JSE sells a $22 Guntec for the 9. https://02b5f6c.netsolstores.com/guntecar9mmbuffer.aspx Last time out to the range I used a 5.4oz and it was better. I forgot to take the Guntec with me. I may be going to the range again soon and will give it a try.

Thanks for the input sburd357. I'm very tempted to get one of these to use with my existing SBR.

$95 and your choice of Cerakote finish. Mine took close to two months to ship, but it looks like it should get the job done.

I got one of these recently and it was perfect right out of the gate. It came within a few days and the instructions were very simple. The only caveat is you need Gen 3 or newer Glock mags. It's possible to use older ones, but they have an edge that needs to be smoothed out.

I coupled the Stern adapter with an inexpensive BCA barrel, a Kaw Valley bolt carrier, a RRA 9mm buffer, and a Wolff #16501 buffer spring. About 200 rounds so far and not one hiccup.

I hope this info is useful.
