New KAC Mod 2 owner question

I have done some googling, but no answer has been found.

I finally was able to buy my first KAC SR-15 rifle after a few years of trying to make it happen. I have a silencerco can I want to use while I save up the funds for a KAC cqb 556 can.

To change the muzzle device is the Geissele reaction rod g2g? I know the bolt and barrel extension are not the same as a standard M4/AR-15. Is there a different tool?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, or has been covered, but I've not been able to dig it up.

    Thanks in advance.

    Chris

I do not know if the Geissele reaction rod will work or not, but KAC does manufacture their own version for the SR15 and SR25 patterned rifles. I hope this helps.

Here you go....yes you need the rod for a Knight’s AR due to the shape of the bolt lugs.
