I'm looking to date my 2" S&W Model 64 no dash. It has a pinned bbl. Serial number is. D711838. I have a feeling we are about the same age! Thanks.

Early stainless gun, but I can't help you with a specific date. However, let me commend you on your taste.
You may want to put a post on the Smith and Wesson forums, they usually can nail them down fairly closely.
I also commend you on your taste. I have a 64 2", and enjoy it a great deal. Mine has a set of the old Bianchi Lightning Grips.
D659,902 - D750,000. Late 74-75
D750,001 - D870,000 late 75-76
I would double check that thought

Thanks Gents. I snapped it up for $425 on GB. When it came in I was surprised at it's age. I couldn't see the pinned bbl in the photo. I'm a 1972 Model myself. Thanks Again Guys.

Nice.
Not much can beat a well broken in, or tuned, double action trigger of a "K" frame.

NICE score! I had a chance to get one several years ago for a little over half that and turned it down, been kicking myself in the butt ever since.
