I have a Saker 556 and a Saker K, as well as an Omega. All great cans with great tone on 5.56 guns. I run the K on everything 12.5" and above and the 556 on my 11.5" and shorter guns. The Omega gets run on my 300BO and Rifle Dynamics SBR's. My next can purchases will be a Sandman K and a SF RC2.

I would say the new TBAC can.

It’s cheap and can be taken apart.

I personally have an Omega that I run in everything but the TBAC can is 1/2 the price.

Quick update: I talk to my LGS and they refunded me so I could buy a Surefire from the linked page. I went with the RC. The LGS will still get a small processing fee so it's a win-win.

An awesome choice! I love my RC2 and from my understanding, there’s isn’t much of a difference between the RC and the RC2. I’m just looking forward to SF releasing some new cans, whenever that might be.

I saw that deal and just bought 556 RC #3. Why swap cans from rifle to rifle at that price?
    An excellent choice IMHO.

This would be a great can.

I went with a Rugged Micro 30 and that's 5 inches in the short configuration. We'll see how that does for 16 inch 308 gas guns... But I do love my Surefire cans.

That silencer looks nice. I went with surefire for 556 and would like to be able to swap for a specific reason.

If it doesnt happen in the next year ir 2 i may go with something like you mentioned.
