Need help: How to use a 65MOA Circle Dot Sight.

Getting my first circle dot sight. Has a 65MOA circle, with a 2MOA dot in middle. Will be mounted on one of my 16" rifles.
Im planning a 50/200 zero...depending upon responses here.
My goal: accuracy & efficiency out to 300 yards.
Ive searched interwebs for awhile...here too...not seeing anything on how to use this circle at distance..and/or up close, like inside 10 yards.
If I missed something here, please forgive.
The 4 tick marks on the outside edge..the "north, south, east, west" marks..how are they also utilized?
Any info yall could share to get me started learning will be greatly need & appreciated.
Also- ammo used initially will be MEN 56 gr FMJ.

IIRC, the bottom "tick" is the POI at 7 yards.
