First post and my first build

    Hello all,

    29468269_1660546490647952_822600156896559104_n.jpg

First one I've ever assembled from scratch.

    CMMG MK4 Lower
    Stag LPK
    7075 milspec 6 position tube
    Geissele G2S
    Aero trigger guard
    Magpul K2
    B5 bravo
    Ranier stripped upper
FN (Rainier branded) CHF 249 1/7 chrome lined, mid-length, modified profile 16" barrel
    BCM bolt/carrier
    BCM MCMR 15" rail
    BCM Gunfighter Mod 0 comp
BCM Gunfighter Mod 3B charging handle
    TA31F Acog
    LWRC Diopter BUIS
    VTAC original sling

I've put the better part of a case through it since last weekend, and it hasn't missed a beat. Very mild shooting rifle. I'm getting good groups with loose packed Lake City, and just ordered a big cross section of "match grade" offerings to try and find out what it likes. I really just wanted to build a shooter based around this barrel and the Acog. I hope it gets to see a lot of rounds on steel in various formats.

Anyways, just wanted to say Hi and introduce this little carbine to the world

    Cheers

You did good with BCM, Geiselle and ACOG, keep working , keep shooting and best of luck.

Black Hills MK262 for the win! I was getting 1" ten shot groups with called flyers out of both a floated stock 6920 barrel and this.

    Beautiful ammunition.

    Thank you.

After living with this setup for awhile, I have to say, I'm really liking this BCM carrier group. The finish is glass smooth, the chrome lining and machining of the gas chamber area is immaculate. It cleans up easily and has nice even contact marks with the upper. Overall a very smooth, well made BCG.

2600 rounds through it since completion. No stoppages of any kind with lancers, pmags and GI. Mostly loose packed Federal and Wolf Gold.

MCMR gets hot after 45 minutes of drills, but that's hardly unexpected. . .

I’m a big fan of the BCM rail covers. Magpul makes some good ones too.
