    Surefire M600

Is the surefire M600 the gold standard for weapon light? I see them all the time on rifles. I’m trying to upgrade one of my rifles and have the budget to get one. If this is a good light what M-lok mount is recommended?

The M600 is great. That said, I really think Arisaka is the answer to both of your questions at this point (both light and mount).

As already stated, Arisaka is the answer. The inline scout mount will work great for hand guards that have MLOK at the 45* and the offset will work for the hand guards that have slots at the 3, 6, and 9. Arisaka also has their own surefire clones that use Malkoff heads. They are excellent and every bit as good as a surefire.

I've used a fury in an Arisaka ring mount, and I can speak well of that mount. When the M600DF finally ships, I look forward to trying that option with an Arisaka scout mount.

Arms Unlimited has M600 Ultras for $190 shipped right now.

Pretty good price on an awesome light.

I'd wait for the M600DF which has 2.5 times more lumen output.

The Arisaka in line mount is excellent. I'm getting ready to post a spare M600 for sale. PM if interested.
