Best possible optics for SCAR 17

Hi guys, I need recommendation for the best possible optics for the SCAR 17? Originally I was getting the Nikon Monarch X 4-16x50, but it sounds like there are better options.
I'm looking more for long-range obviously. I want to setup my SCAR 17S as a long-range gun as I've got my FS2000 with EOTech and 3X FTS for CQB. Would like something capable of allowing me to see a target at 1,000 yards, but also something at 50 yards, if that's possible.

The SCAR will destroy a lot of optics from what I've heard.

There are many optic brands that are better than Nikon's Monarch series.

US Optics, Schmidt & Bender, Leupold, Nightforce, Swarovsky, Vortex's Razor HD, etc

These should all tolerate a SCAR's recoil impulse.

IMHO, if you want a 1,000 yard capable single optic solution, there is more than a good chance that its low end magnification will be less than ideal at 50 yds and possibly even at 100 yds.

buddy put Narrowing down your requirements will definitely help give you more viable options. A buddy put this M-223 3-12x42 on his SCAR 16S without any issues and we had a blast hitting steel. He put a M-308 4-16x42 on his 17S and that worked great as well. Lots of great scope options available to you. I'd definitely consider a 20MOA mount to help you with your 1000 goal for your SCAR 17.

Another Nikon choice you might like is the BLACK x1000 4-16x50. It has a 30mm tube, and you can get it with a MOA or MRAD reticle and turrets to match. I have been using 3 for the past year on 2 6.5cm's and 1 .308. Great features and glass. Definitely, put it on your list of scopes to check out. Maybe some of the Sponsor's here can help you out too?
