SLR hand guard/Armalite

Stupid question,
Going to re-barrel two Armalite AR-10 rifles and will be using SLR hand guards. Barrels usually have a DPMS extension on them and hardly anybody makes one for Armalite, so the question is;
DPMS barrel nut for the hand guard or do the barrel nuts work for both rifles? Thread pitch different?

SLR's Armalite rail is DPMS-High profile and the nut is Armalite AR-10 thread pitch
