    Griffin Armament 30-SD

I am going to get my first suppressor. I want to use it on a Sig 553 R (7.62x39) and also on some 5.56 rifles. Has anyone used this suppressor? Any input? It is their QD model.

I’ve got one... decent can, works well, no complaints. If anything, might be a tad on the heavier side. The QD, fit, and sound suppression are good. I only use GA MD’s with it though, so the fit may vary on which MD you’re using.
POI shift seems to vary depending on which firearm I’m using it on but overall, isn’t bad.

Thanks Ryno. I would only use their MDs. Have you used it on both a 30 cal and 5.56? Seems like a nice can for a decent price. How would you rate the noise reduction level as compared to others.

Yes, I use it on both 5.56 & .30 firearms. Sounds suppression between it & my other cans is negligible. Perhaps a few decibels between each but nothing that stands out as one being significantly louder than another.
When comparing it to my Optimus on a 300BLK, the 30SD might be a fuzz quieter.
On my 5.56, it might be a fuzz louder than my M4SD2.

I think you’ll be happy with it.
