Can't help on the 1911 variety, but I have a G20 and love it. Once that Noveske 10mm PDW drops, I'll be buying one and a Ghost-M for it. 10mm is an awesome round, go for it

I am reading claims of 1700fps on 17.5" barrels with the 10mm 180gr

Thanks for all the input. I acquired a Springfield Operator 10mm. Traded around and got it w/o spending much cash. I need to head for the range now!

Would love to see some REVOLVERS in 10 mm like the S&W 610 w/5 inch barrel. Ruger goes out and puts out a GP100 in .44 Special w/5 shoot cylinder. WTF. How about 10 mm. Just my 2 cents FWIW.

Chiappa Rhino is available in .40. I wonder if there is enough on the cylinder to go 10mm?

Was the 610 offered in a 5 inch barrel? When I bought mine on one of the last runs they had just shorter than 4 inches and a 6 inch barrel. I will say the 6 inch 610 is one of my favorite guns. Handles the 10mm great and is very accurate. I ended up buying the ruger when it came out last year and the difference is night and day. The ruger has a shittier fit and finish, is heavier, and has more recoil.

I wish smith and wesson would do anothe run. I'd pick up a 3.whatever inch model and another 6 inch.

Yeah Ruger screwed the pooch with the 10 MM in a Super Redhawk, I don't understand the reasoning of the marketing departments of S&W or Ruger. IMO their idea that people only want huge heavy revolvers in 10 is just wrong, if they could/would make a 6 shot L frame or GP100 it would sell like hotcakes.

I don't know about the 5" barrel. Would have to look it up. I feel that 5" is a good compromise between 4 and 6. I agree. Would love to see S&W produce the 610 again.

OK, 10mm / .40 RCBS dies arrived today. Now to secure bullets and some brass (probably Starline) and get to work.
