    I resisted both for a long time, being happy with the 1913 rail or standard plastic handguards. My first M-LOK compatible anything was a MagPul X-22 stock, then a MagPul Mid-Length handguard. After "the report" came out it just made sense to go that direction.

    To be fair, that might be more of a function of the KMR's construction more than the KeyMod aspect. I suspect a lot of the issues attributed to KeyMod are actually due to the KMR, though I still personally prefer M-LOK over KeyMod.

    That may be 100% true. Either way it soured me on the concept.

    Thanks for all the great and helpful input. It seems the Keymod is the more user friendly system and the M-LOK is the more substantial system. Having been born with two left thumbs I usually go for the ease of use option but in this case I think the M-LOK may be the way to go between the two. I really appreciate all the great help. Feel free to continue posting helpful input.
