    Unfortunately the NFA branch doesn’t move quickly enough. I need them gone in 2-3 weeks.

    I am making real progress toward a permanent move to a foreign country.

    Why not sell the cans to a local dealer and let the paperwork run its course while you are moving. The mail does work in foreign countries and the Form 3's/4's can follow you to your new address.

    You can store them at a friend or relatives place until you can sell them or if you plan to come back at some time.

    They just need to be locked in a safe that only you have access to the combination of.

    Just a little known option without the NFA paperwork time constraint.

    Also good info for someone PCSing or taking a job in a State they can't take NFA to.

    By permanent are you saying full on renounce? Pretty sure the taxes for people who don't renounce have shot up drastically.

    I'm in the "Give them to a dealer on consignment camp". Don't destroy them, broseph.
