    Dead Air Sandman Mount Question

Does anybody know if a Sandman will fit on a 16" barrel with a 15" Geissele MK14 rail?

I'm trying to decide if I want a 15" or 13" rail and don't have my can yet so I can't tell how much it overhangs the back of the muzzle device.

    Thanks.

Yes, it will work with the 15" MK14.

Thank you sir. Do you happen to have a measurement for how much it hangs over the back of the muzzle device, if at all?

If you use the flash hider updated brake, it doesn’t hang over the back of the muzzle device. It hangs over slightly on the earlier brake but not anywhere close to hitting your rail in that setup.

    Is this a new mount?

It’s the same brake but Gen 2. They updated it to include the pin/weld hole. Now it’s exactly like the flash hider on the threaded end.
