I have sandman muzzle brakes for all my rifles and they are great with the exception of one rifle- my Adams arms piston upper. When the brake is installed I can’t remove the piston rod. The diameter of the rim of the brake is too large (by about 2-3 mm) and won’t allow the piston to side forward for removal.

I came upon a thread quite a while ago about it and I believe the OP took a dremel and made a small cut to allow the piston to slide free but the QD mount still functions as it should. I can’t seem to locate this thread now though.

Anyone have any experience with this?
