Thread: Replacing Front sight base?

    I found a BCM barrel someone had done the same thing to, with less than 100 rounds down the tube. Got it for less than half price. I just used an old Armalite clamp-on.

    I had adco do this for me. It turned out nice.

    I can see their utility in this application, but I have always cringed at clamp-on gas blocks, in particular those with a fixed sight tower. The AEC guy in me just pictures a gas shut-off vavle.

    If you don't like fixed you can always get a folder:



    Both the fixed and folding clamp-ons can be drilled and pinned.
