What to put on threads for my muzzle device on my Ar?

I recently picked up a Spikes dynacomp d3, and I was wondering is loctite needed or aeroshell 33ms or just nothing on the threads?

    Nothing.

Mark, the last muzzle device I installed I did not put Rocksett or anything like that. I just torqued it down and it has not moved. It seems perfect. Is that what you do as well?

Suppressor mounts usually require Rocksett. For normal muzzle devices I use moly grease.

Most AR manufacturers use nothing for normal muzzle devices, and the Tech Manual doesn't call for anything specifically.

Interesting. I believe most people use something. I can certainly understand why it makes sense for suppressor mounts. As to normal muzzle devices, however, I can see how it would not be an issue.

I use shims and Rockset, I prefer to torque the muzzle device to <20 lbs ft of torque.
The Rockset ensures it will not loosen.

I used a little bit of CLP just to make spinning the muzzle device on a little easier.

Rocksett because my muzzle devices are suppressor mounts. If not a suppressor mount, then torque to less than 25 ft/lbs is my preferred method.
