I have had a T-1 on my duty rifle and have changed the battery once in seven years. It has never been turned off and stays on setting #8. I changed it at the 5 year mark just because. Let us know what Aimpoint says.

I put a new battery in and set the power output mode to 5 and can clearly and visually see the red dot, turn the power off completely. Wait approximately 20 minutes and turn back on and the battery is completely dead. I purchased a dedicated CR2032 battery tester from Pixnor and confirmed that every battery is dead.

Am I missing something? This just started happening within the last 5 days. I thought at first I bought old batteries but this is too consistent.
Your first hunch is prob the correct one. Batteries were either old or counterfeit. I made the mistake of buying a dozen coin batteries at a ridiculous price off Amazon once as well, but never again. Pick up a legit 2032 from the hardware store and retest before you start complaining to AP.

Any progress in determining the cause of the battery drain?
