Colt M4 Heavy Barrel Carbine (SOCOM barreled LE6920)

I think I've been living under a rock, as I just found out about this. Colt is offering a 14.5" pinned and welded SOCOM barreled LE6920 from the factory. It's nothing fancy, as it comes with a standard M4 handguard, and a Magpul rear sight, but I'm excited you can buy a factory SOCOM barreled Colt again. I think it's a much better deal than the FN collector's series carbine, as list price is only $1049.00. https://www.colt.com/detail-page/m4-...-barrel-pinned

Good luck finding one. Out of curiosity I went to gun.deals and clicked on the first twenty listings and they were all out of stock.

It's a good shooting setup! I didn't know Colt was offering a complete rifle.

Huge thread on these rifles on TOS.

Pretty sure it was a limited release last year.

edited 6/4: apparently there is a new 2018 release, supposedly <250ea.

If you don't mind sharing, what did you end up paying per rifle?

Rays Sporting Goods in Dallas. They are on a lot of manufactures "priority" list since they deal in volume.

They're no longer in stock, so I guess my hunch above was right (only by a week though).
