Sig,....... they haven’t been the same since they started production here.

Follow the money. I'd put my bought new in 1996 American P229 up against either of my W. German P220 or P226. IMHO, what did it in for Sig is that they went from being a top of the top tier, to trying to become a household name. They sacrificed quality for quantity very shortly after coming to the USA. It was a simple money grab for the market share. Sad...

Interesting. The only mail I've received from Sig in the last week is a father's day sales ad. Maybe because I participated in the "Voluntary Upgrade" already?

Not surprising. Their response was deny, deny, deny until the evidence was overwhelming and anyone with any sense could deduce that they were knowingly selling bad pistols. The timeline easily discredits official statements at the time.

End users would benefit from a leadership shake up at Sig with a focus on getting the basics right.

Sig claims to spend more on R&D than anyone else. The only way this statement could be true is if their staff just steals all the ammo and shoots it through HKs at home.

I was thinking the same exact thing, and it still made me laugh hard when I read your post.
