Blue loc tite or Rockset

If you wanted to secure a screw, but wanted the lesser of these two options, which would you choose?

My MP5 Zennith gun has the mlock rail and the screw came loose once. It has not come loose again, but I didn't feel like a secured very well with the Allen wrench knowing I could strip it pretty easy.

What says men ?

I use blue loctite.

Sure, Blue Loctite if you plan on removing it with little hassle PB.

I’ve used it on firearms for years with no failures; sights/rings/set screws/etc.

Had a bad experience with Rockset once, having to CUT a muzzle device off a barrel- heat, soaking in H2O, nothing worked for breaking it loose.
Prefer Red Loctite for projects I don’t plan on having to “undo” now.

Blue Loctite and Rocksett, for me, take about the same amount of force to break. If high heat is present, I’d use Rocksett- otherwise Blue.

I use blue Loctite for pretty much any screw between mounting rails/accessories, holsters, whatever. Always worked very well for me.

I used to love rocset.. that was till I put some on a bike fork screw.. that stuff mixed with some water and made a horrible seepage that turned to concrete on the stanctions, ruined the forks.

Loctite is all I use now. Rocset might have some good applications, but just know once it's exposed to water it will make a horrible mess that can ruin parts.

Blue Loctite 243, because it's oil tolerant and it will work with active and inactive metals without using a primer.

When I need a red threadlocker I use Loctite 263 for the same reasons.
