Lightweight 20 in A3 w/pinned front sight block?

No one makes this? Basically an A1 upper with a flat top.

I'd like one. I'd probably get it even if it was 1:12. Forward assist not a requirement but desirable. Don't really want the brass deflector but don't care that much..

Faxon sells just a barrel, it's not exactly what you're looking for but if you're not against getting it sent out to have an FSB installed this might work?

If none of this would work, I apologize

I made up my own with one of Brownell's 20" A1 profile 1:7 barrel assemblies and a flat top upper I had in a drawer.

The pinning of the front sight/gas block is the tough part of the idea. Almost nobody does it.

Cool. Did you go with a fixed sight block?

Yes. It came as a completely assembled barrel. It's still listed on their site, so it's possible they may be stocked again in the future.

Really? A 20 in LW barrel with pinned sight block? That's great I'll look for it.

    Here it is. > https://www.brownells.com/rifle-part...prod97909.aspx

They also have the same barrel with a 1/12 twist that is out of stock as well. Last I heard both of them were supposed to be coming back in stock sometime in July.

They are made by Ballistic Advantage.

OP if you google “20” a1 barrel” multiple options are available.
    Brownells
    Del-ton
    Faxon
    Green mountain
    Tnte
    Etc.

If Brownells makes a complete one, that's probably the route I'd go.

The Faxon option is also good, but it's going to be an assembly task. I did this one last year using their 18" Gunner barrel. I love this thing.
