I think this is going to be its own verb. To be "Coopered."

Obviuosly Mr. Cooper didn't get the memo. Apparently he doesn't give a shit about the 2nd Amendment either.

Someone should get a list of dealers and let them know...

    http://www.cooperfirearms.com/ordering.html

    tells how
    • formerly known as "eguns-com"
    • M4Carbine required notice/disclaimer: I run eguns.com
•eguns.com has not been actively promoted in a long time though I still do Dillon special
orders, etc. and I have random left over inventory.
•"eguns.com" domain name for sale (not the webstore). Serious enquiries only.

Good for Bernie and all of you, dude! We can only hope more of this dumbass's customers show equal backbone in tossing his wares out of their stores.

I wonder if anyone has a significant inventory of Cooper rifles in stock? The company's announcement has all but destroyed any chance of getting them sold. A dealer or distributor stuck with all that inventory may very well need to return everything for a refund .....

Correct. They are a high-end custom gun shop (the kind that doesn't even list prices) and by all appearances deal only in bolt-action rifles. Supposed to be pretty nice, but I've never seen one of his rifles myself or know personally anybody who has one.

It's interesting that he does this, because it reminds me of a conversation I was having with someone at the last gun show who sold bolt guns and shotguns who was lamenting that people felt they "needed" these "assault weapons" and didn't feel we should be allowed to own 'em. It's a shame, because he had some great prices that I'll never get to take advantage of. This is the third gun show in a row where I've been told this by someone selling guns there...

I'll be calling the manager at the Sioux Falls store who is a friend of mine and make sure he knows.
