Well, they have saved my pocketbook by revitalizing all my old SF 6P/6Z/9P/C2/G2 and many taclite bodies that were kinda useless after dedicated LED lights first came out as well as the dedicated weapon mounted lights (expensive).
Better and better accessories (cell extenders, lithium rechargeables, etc) and weapon light mounts (VTAC/VLTOR) have allowed me to have cutting edge everything for minimal additional cost as compared to the L4/L5/Gladius/M900's/961's I did buy and was getting ready to expand on even though I wasn't super happy with them. (Wait, still super happy with the L4!)
I just wanted to thank all the "flashaholics" out there for increasing the demand and causing ALL the SF 6v to 9v++ LED drop in manufacturers to drive the market forward in quality, cost, runtime, and brightness!
Well, I also hope this lets the few out there that aren't enlightened yet know that all their old stuff is new again.
