My buddy ordered the wrong belt, with velcro, so he and I traded for my previous black atlas. So now I'm GTG just need to buy the duty belt.

Been researching belts and I think for my frame a padded duty belt would work better for me. I don't have a gut to keep a large padded molle belt in place and I feel it would ride up off my hips or come out of position during draws. I already wear a duty belt with velcro inner belt for work so that is some what comfortable for me. Looking to expand a belt to include more stuff for range days and classes, hence going with a duty belt pad. I see snake eater tactical has a 3 belt system with velcro pant belt, pad with velcro on both sides and cobra belt for holding gear. Any other options in that setup or would it require more of a custom approach to achieve the level of stability?

    Nice...the duty belt is sweet.

Volund duty or micro battle belt. I'm 5'11" and 155 lbs, no gut. As long as you order the proper size its gtg. Also get the liner belt and its even better

I'd hold off on Volund, this was on their site. Hope everything is OK.

Volund Gearworks will be suspending all activity while an unforeseen Family Event is worked through. Obviously it is desired that this down time will be short. For now here is how it’s going down:

No new orders can be placed; inventory has been zeroed out across the board.
Orders already placed and in the queue are going to process as time allows, this will lead to longer lead times and that’s just how it is. This will not get out of control, keep reading….
If you have an order in the queue and do not want to wait, drop us an email with your order # and your funds will be refunded in full with no hard feelings.
Should this event string out and work slows or stops for an extended period of time ALL orders in the queue will be refunded until we are fully back online. We are not just going to suspend operations and leave folks hanging.
Expect general comms to be slow, AT BEST.
    Thanks for understanding.

Damn, I hope everything works out for Matt. I'm a huge fan of his products with recently adding a micro battle belt to the fold. I mis-measured it initially and it was too large. Matt got it fixed and back down to Texas in about five working days ROUND TRIP! Great service and solid product. I've had his G-hook atlas belts for a couple years now and it's all I wear anymore. On the job or every day.

Got my tacos from HSGI and just waiting on Safariland to get what I think I need to mount a 2" drop on an ALS holster on the micro. However, anyone having advice of how to mount your ALS with QLS to a micro, I'm all ears. I need the drop for my G34. I'm going to try and get the low ride Safariland belt loop over the Micro and use the ITS UBL mod for a lower strap. I need it all mounted to the Micro for quick on and off. So putting the UBL on an inner belt isn't and option.

Remember, the Founding Fathers reason for the 2nd Amendment... to combat tyranny. Sadly, when people discuss the 2nd Amendment, the opponents erroneously think it was meant to stand alone... it HAS a preamble:

Got the same email this morning after placing my order on the 9th for the MBB. I too hope everything works out okay and not just so I can get my belt any quicker. I've only had my hands on and tried three or four different belts but the Volund belts are best for me.

Found a cheaper duty belt/pad/inner belt system through US Grunt Gear in the new pro grunt belt with cobra buckle. Velcro on all surfaces to keep the duty belt, pad, and inner belt in place. Velcro also works without the pad if need to run a thinner setup. $50 cheaper that the snake eater s.e.t. belt system. Seems like grunt gear has some decent reviews. Ran a 2" duty belt and thigh holster before and after an all day call-out it was digging into my hips pretty bad. Pad on the grunt gear is also smaller and less obtrusive.

Have the US Grunt Gear Infidel War belt and it is top notch as well. Been my goto for a couple years. Just figured I'd try the "less is more" with the Volund Micro and see how I liked it. Guess I need to check the Grunt Gear site if they have something new in case this doesn't work out.

This is what I have set up so far.
Trying to decide what to get for pistol pouches, think either tacos or a double kywi. I was also thinking of adding a multitool (Leatherman Wave) and a hand held flashlight. Don't think I would add too much after that as I'm trying to keep it somewhat simple. I know that there are slimmer/lower profile belts out there. I mainly went with the sure grip because I know I can put it on over what ever I'm wearing be it t-shirt and jeans or kaki pants and a polo. The only issue I have had with this belt riding up is if I have an untucked t-shirt.

I mostly wear this when going to the shooting range. While I didn't have this when I took my previous I would like to where it when I get the chance to take one in the future.

    Thoughts/suggestions welcome.

    Thanks
